What Site DNA contains

The Site DNA Profile is the structural fingerprint of your site:

  • Niche classification — the primary niche your site operates in
  • Site type — blog, e-commerce, SaaS landing pages, authority site, etc.
  • Top categories — the categories with the most posts and traffic
  • Coverage gaps — topical areas your competitors cover but you don't
  • Style profile — average article length, formatting, tone, vocabulary
  • Brand voice fingerprint — extracted from your highest-quality posts

How to read it

Site Intelligence sidebar → Site DNA. The page shows:

  • A 1-paragraph "What this site is about" summary
  • Top 5 categories with post counts
  • Top 10 coverage gaps (with click-to-generate buttons)
  • A style profile chart (avg word count, FAQ usage, internal link density)
  • The trained brand voice sample

How it gets used

Every time you write an article in a Workspace tied to this site, ContentRyte feeds the Site DNA into the prompt. The output:

  • Stays on-niche for your site
  • Matches your writing style
  • Avoids topics outside your authority
  • Links to your existing posts where relevant

Re-running the scan

If you've made major changes (new categories, lots of new posts), click Re-scan on the site card. The scan takes 1–3 minutes for sites under 200 posts, up to 10 minutes for sites approaching the 1,000-post limit.
