Connecting Your WordPress Site via the Bridge Token

What the bridge token does

The bridge token is a unique key that authenticates ContentRyte to talk to your specific WordPress site. Each token is one-way (your site → ContentRyte) and can be revoked anytime.

Generating the bridge token

1. In ContentRyte: Site Intelligence → click on the site card → Connect Bridge
2. ContentRyte generates a unique token. Copy it.

Pasting the token into WordPress

1. In WordPress admin: Lumen AI Writer → Settings → Bridge Token
2. Paste the token you copied
3. Click Save
4. The page will refresh and show "Connected ✓" along with a green dot

Verifying connection

Back in ContentRyte, the site card now shows:

• Connected status pill (green)
• Plugin tier (Free or PRO)
• Plugin version
• Last sync timestamp

What you can do next

Once connected:

• Click Scan Now to run the initial Site DNA scan (analyses up to 1,000 posts)
• Open Site Intelligence for any site-level features (Content Health, Content Planner, etc.)
• Use the Push to WordPress button when publishing articles from ContentRyte

Disconnecting a site

If you need to disconnect: site card → Disconnect Bridge. The token is invalidated and ContentRyte will no longer be able to publish to or scan that site.
