When you're ready to publish
After generating an article in the Blog Wizard, you'll see a Push to WordPress button at the top of the editor.
The publish flow
- Click Push to WordPress
- Pick the destination site from the dropdown (if you have multiple connected)
- Optionally pick:
- Category (auto-synced from your WP site)
- Author (auto-synced)
- Featured image (the AI-generated cover, or upload your own)
- Status: Publish immediately, save as Draft, or Schedule
- Click Push
ContentRyte uploads the article, sets the featured image, applies categories and tags, embeds FAQPage + Article schema markup, and either publishes or queues based on your selection.
Verification
After a successful push, you'll see:
- A success toast with a View on WordPress link
- The article status in ContentRyte updates to Published to WordPress
- A
wp_synced_attimestamp on the article
Common issues
- Category dropdown is empty — Click Sync All Categories on the site card to refresh the list from WP
- Author dropdown is empty — Click Sync All Authors on the site card
- Push reports success but article isn't visible — Check the Status you selected; it may have published as a draft. Verify the destination URL in WordPress admin.
Bulk publishing
The Bulk Publish feature (MegaBundle and above) lets you queue 50+ articles to publish on a staggered schedule. Open any article → Bulk Publish to add to the queue.
