Connecting Blogs and RSS Feeds is one of the initial steps in Viral Dashboard. Once the connection is made, the data will be then displayed on Content Discovery.
In blog collection, you have options to connect various blog platforms like Blogger, WordPress, Medium, and Tumbler. You can easily connect to your blog website.
Steps to connect blog website
Step 1: Once you log in to your Viral Dashboard account, click on Blog Connect under Content Connector on the left side menu bar.
Step 2: You will be redirected to the Blog Connect page where you see four blog platforms. Choose the one in which your website is built. Check the screenshot below.
Step 3: After clicking on your Website type, you will be again redirected to the specific blog connection page. For example, if you choose to add Blogger Website, you will be redirected to that page. Check the screenshot below.
Step 4: Click on Connect Blogger. Now a dialog box will appear in which you need to type your website URL and hit the Check Blogger URL button.
Step 5: After this, you will see all the blog posts which are there on your website. Now, scroll down and click on Submit Button.
After this, your blog will be successfully added. You can check it in the Content Discovery section. This will help you in creating your social media posts faster.
Steps to Add RSS Feed
Connecting RSS Feed is basically similar to Bolg. RSS is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format.
Step 1: Click on RSS Feeds Connect under Content Connector on the left side menu bar.
Step 2: Now you will be redirected to the RSS Feeds Connect page. Here click on Connect Feeds button. Check the screenshot below.
Step 3: Click on the Connect Feeds button and fill in the website name and then click on the Check Feed URL button. It will check if there is RSS feeds available on your entered website and then show you the data accordingly.
